Pete’s Characters

Mr. Sunshine

With his thick Italian accent, bright umbrella, and a pocket full of surprises, Mister Sunshine provides sunny, weather-related forecasts for everyone he interacts with. Like, “Gina! Your 2025 forecast includes a 95% chance of happiness, and a low pressure system for everyone who has the pleasure of working with you.”

Wishy Washy

A groovy and ridiculous throwback to the disco-era, Wishy Washy has a positive attitude and grants folks’ wishes on tiny mirror balls that hang from the tree he’s trying to fill with wishes. Grab a ball. Let Wishy charge it with his groovy flashlight. Hold it tight. Make a wish. And wait.

Gary the Reluctant Grave Digger

Gary is a goofy gravedigger who’s scared of most things. Especially graveyards. He doles out lucky earthworms so that their lot in life is better than his. This character can also be repurposed as Charlie the Chimney Sweep, who shows off his strange collection of things he’s found in the chimneys he sweeps for Santa’s arrival.

Lemonade Island

Pete is here to give you a caring ear and empathetic advice. Based on years of experience in immersive events and audience engagement, Pete has a unique way of “reading” people through a playfully compassionate, problem-solving lens. It’s public art - where the canvas is the client. You!

Old Salt

With his battered but colorful seafaring wardrobe, his tattered book of tales, and devilish demeanor, Salty entertains with silly jokes and spooky tales that he can’t remember the details of - so his audience helps to fill in the ghostly blanks. Salty isn’t so much scary as confused. And old. And weird.

Keeper

Keeper is Pete’s character who hosted “Moonrise Circus” for over 2 years in Bushwick & Times Square. This clown (with zero circus skills) has a naughty and mischievous sense of humor. He can balance a feather on his nose. He’s a fan of 80s dance moves. And he keeps the audience on their toes by tickling their funny bones.
